Felipe Ignacio Vázquez Aldana Sauza is founding Partner at VAHG and has more than 40 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has worked in the areas of Notarial Law, Real Estate Law, Banking and Financial Law and Corporate Law.
He has been a Notary Public since January 1987, obtaining his Fiat as an Alternate Notary Public. Since 1995, he obtained his Fiat as Titular Notary Public Number 9 of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, acting in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
As a Notary Public, he currently performs a public function, with the capacity to formalize and certify facts, acts and legal transactions to which authenticity and legal certainty is desired or required, being also empowered to intervene as mediator, conciliator or arbitrator, and in concurrence with the jurisdiction branches, in the processing of voluntary jurisdiction and special processing businesses, in those cases expressly authorized by civil legislation.
Within his area of assignment, he has served as Notary Public of the largest banking institutions in the country, with an extensive trajectory in the formalization of corporate and mortgage loans, agreements, restructurings, as well as dations in payment and certainly, with experience in the matter of trusts in its diverse modalities.
In addition to his notarial activity, he has participated as a member of the Board of Directors and Administration of several civil associations, variable capital stock corporations, variable capital stock corporations and banking institutions, both regionally and nationally.
He has advised banking institutions and leading real estate companies and landlords, as well as in the structuring of private placements for financial companies specialized in asset management and private banking services.
Among his clients are national and foreign investors and real estate developers in Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita; he also advises clients during their land acquisition process for housing, industrial, business, tourism or health projects, to mention a few.
Mr. Vázquez Aldana obtained his Law Degree (JD) from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG), with Honourable Mention. He has studies in “Orientation in the legal system of the United States” from The International Law Institute of the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C.
He is a member of the National Association of Mexican Notaries, the Chamber of Notaries of the State of Jalisco, the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE), the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), Consulegis and EEIG.
