María Guadalupe Llamas López is a Partner at Vázquez Aldana, Hernández Gómez y Asociados (VAHG), with more than 25 years of professional experience, her practice specializes in Notarial Law, Real Estate Law, Financial Law and Corporate Law.
In the area of Real Estate Law, she has extensive experience in all legal and regulatory aspects of investments in the Real Estate Sector, as well as in the drafting of all types of contracts regarding the transfer of real estate, acquisition and sale of real estate assets, such as sales, donations, dations in payment, swaps, promise of sale, transmissions in execution of trusts, as well as mergers and subdivisions of real estate; as well as in mergers and subdivisions of real estate and the constitution of condominium property regimes and real estate developments, providing advice to real estate brokers, as well as to housing developers and individuals in the sale of real estate, as well as to potential purchasers either in cash transactions or with financing from credit institutions.
In the area of Financial Law, she carries out the preparation of corporate, syndicated and mortgage loans, restructurings, dations in payment and acknowledgments of debt with the main credit institutions of the Mexican Financial System.
In addition, she also has extensive experience in administration, guarantee and testamentary trusts, financing in acquisitions, structured financing and project financing, derivatives, among others. In the area of Corporate Law, she advises companies in all legal aspects related to the incorporation of commercial and civil companies, bylaws, mergers and spin-offs, dissolutions and liquidations, preparation of minutes of the meeting and notarization, as well as the granting of powers of attorney in highly complex operations.
Guadalupe obtained her Law Degree (JD) from Universidad América Latina (UAL) with Academic Excellence in 2016.
She obtained her Master’s Degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) with Academic Excellence, in 2020. Her training is continuous and she regularly attends several seminars given by the Colegio Nacional del Notariado Mexicano, A.C. and the Chamber of Notaries of the State of Jalisco, A.C. and several Diploma Courses, among them, one given by the Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) focused on Corporate Law.
